Add your site name to the browser bar
- Click "site settings"

- In the "site title" field, enter name that will appear in the user’s top browser bar.

Add and delete website administrators This fuctionality allows to you to define administrators for your website. To grant a new person access to the administrative functions of your site: - Click "Create new admin"
- Click "Edit" next to the new administrator
- Enter and verify the new user's password
- Click "Update"
- To delete an administrator, click "delete" on the row with the user's information.

Building Sections and Pages Add a page: Log in Click "Add new page" You will add a page 'below' the main topic category that is currently highlighted.
back Add content to a page: The pages of the website consist of "pagelets" in which the content is entered. To add content to a page, click the "Add New Pagelet" button. You can select the type of pagelet you'd like to add to your page by selecting from the dropdown menu to the left of the "Add New Pagelet" button.
back Pagelet Types There are 3 different types of pagelets:
- WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get)
A custom design section is a blank pallet affords you the greatest level of customization. You can insert images and type freely within the area or insert tables for even more formatting control. - Announcements
Announcements are pieces of timely information that have an end date such as a notification of a sale or a special event. You can add a date that your event will end and the text will be automatically removed from your site when the date has passed. - Products
The products section allows you to create a product or donation box on your website in one click. A Pay Pal button is automatically generated and sends the payment to the email address entered in the "payment options" field under "site settings"
back Arrange Content on the page Each page has 3 defined areas, a left column, middle column, and a right column. Use the left, right, up, and down arrows on the pagelet header to arrange your content on the page.
back Add a new top menu tab: A "section" is a top-level navigation category. In other words, a section is an item that will appear on the the top-most navigational menu. To add a new section, click the "Add New Section" button and a new section will appear called "new section." If you prefer to link to this section from another area of your site instead of displaying it on your menu, click the "eye" icon and the section title will be hidden from view.
back Add a new sub menu tab: You may have several topics that fall under one main category. In this case, you'll want to create a sub menu. Click for an example. To add pages to the submenu, click the main category (in the example above, the main category is "marketing and traffic solutions") then click "add page."
back Hide a page from the navigation bar To hide a section or a page from the navigation bar, click the "eye" icon.
back Find a page that is hidden from the navigational bar: Click the sitemap link at the bottom of your page and locate your page. Another option is to open the dropdown menu titled "hidden pages" or "hidden sections," chose your page, and click "go"
back Rearrange the menu order: Click the directional arrow icons next to the item to move it left or right.
back Add a graphic page header: You can add an image or logo or text to the top of your webpage by clicking the "edit" box above the menu bar. Easy Website Builder is built to be highly customizable and makes it easy for you to change the look of your site with a few clicks.
back Define a specific width for the left and right columns Easy Website Builder is designed to give you the most amount of control of your site while still providing a simple building enviroment. The left and right column have natural maximum widths that they will expand to when text is added. If you wish to increase the width:
- Add a pagelet to the column you wish to expand
- Click the "insert image" icon
- Select "trans_pixel.gif"
- Uncheck "lock image ratio"
- Click "custom size" on the right panel
back Using the Content Editor
Insert an image:
- Click the "insert image" icon
- Browse for your image on your computer
- Click "upload"
- Select the image
- Click "insert"
back Add a border around an image
- Select your image in the image editor
- Enter a border width in the "border" field in the right panel
back Align images next to text: When first inserting the image
- Highlight the image
- Click the "align" dropdown menu and choose where you want the image to appear in relation to the text
- Define the size of the padding (in pixels) between the text and the image.
- You can then drag the image around on the page to where you like it best.
back Insert a single line break instead of a double line break? Hold down "shift" and click enter
back Add text You can either type directly into the editor, or copy content from other webpages or from Microsoft Word. The editor actually converts all of the text you enter into html code. If you're copying text over from another location (such as Microsoft Word) you bring extra characters and code over with the text that are invisible to the eye, but present in the html. Whenever copying something from Word there are 2 ways to remove these characters:
- Copy the text onto "notepad" then paste the notepad text into the editor.
- Paste directly into the editor and click the "Word Clean" icon (it looks like the Microsoft Word icon).
Either of these will take out all of your formatting so that you will need add the formatting in the website editor, but it will create a consistent look in all broswers. back Insert a hyperlink When a complete url is entered in the content box, a link will be automatically generated. If you’d like to add a link to regular text such as “Click here,” simply:
- Highlight the desired text
- Click the “hyperlink” icon on task bar
- In the URL field
- Select "new window" if you prefer that the link open in a new window.
back Insert an email address When a correctly formatted email address is entered in the content box, a link will be automatically generated. If you’d like to add a link to regular text such as “Click here,” simply:
- Highlight the desired text
- Click the “hyperlink” icon on task bar
- In the URL field enter mailto: and the desired email address
back Add text in columns Adding tables are a simple way to have control over text and image when you want even more control over the positioning.
back Add a table:
Easy Website Builder is designed to for both Internet Explorer and Firefox. However, Firefox gives you much more functionality when creating tables. Firefox is completely free and takes less than one minute to download.
- Click the "table" icon
- Select the number of rows and columns for your table
You can always add or delete rows later if you find that you need more or less space. If you're using Internet Explorer, use the insert and delete rows and columns buttons. If you are using FireFox, simply click the up, down, left and right arrows to add and delete. - Select the width of the table
It's best to choose 100% for the table width. This will ensure that the table grows and shrinks to the size of your pagelet. If the table is too large, your content can extend past the boundaries of the webpage and run off the screen for those using smaller monitors. If you do choose to set the pixel width of the table, keep in mind that a webpage is approximately 775 pixels. If you are using Firefox, you can easily drag the width of the table. - Select the border thickness.
If you do not want to show a border, Enter a 0 for the border thickness. If you are using Internet Explorer, you may want to set a border thickness of 1 while you are adding your content to the table so that you can see your defined areas, then set the border thickness to 0 when you are finished. If you are using Firefox and do not wish to have a border, select a 0 border thickness when creating your table. Clicking on your table in FireFox will show you the defined areas. - Select cell padding:
To create space between the cells in the table, set a "padding" between the cells (10 pixels is usally a good place to start)

- Copy the code provided by the source
- Add a pagelet specifically for your adsense block
- Click the html tab
- Remove any existing content and paste the code
- Click save
