Picnic in the Park

Join us on Wednesday to support the 4th annual Picnic in the Park. Enjoy a variety of delicious homemade entrees and goodies prepared by the Adopt-a-Pet staff and extended family. Lunch is $4 for adults and $2 for children. All proceeds go to the Adopt-a-Pet foundation. Dogs are welcome!

The Society’s mission is to promote animal welfare and to provide for the relief and prevention of all animal suffering in our area. We work to accomplish this through education, legislation, public relations, shelter-based activities and coordination with other humane organizations — and by providing a variety of services and programs including adoption, animal rescue, cruelty investigation, humane education and spay/neuter and vaccination clinics. 
Atticus is a male Corgi born in October, 2005 who weighs 10 lbs. He is tan with a white chest, mostly house broken and is good with cats and dogs. Atticus is curious, playful, and attentive. He would love a place to call his home. |

 | We need at least 80 heavy-gauge, stainless steel, handled 6 quart water pails for our shelter kennels. Currently, we use regular water dishes, which the dogs knock over when they have a potential adopter visit. They are then left standing in wet runs. These pails will solve the problem! |
